Ideally I am looking for a composition for solo cello that is based on traditional Okinawan melodies. I have no knowledge of the music of the area and am aware that playing it on a cello will be a stretch. If I can find some written music, I would try to transcribe it for cello. The intention is to play it at a Karate festival / ceremony in Germany in December. My cello skill level is high/professional.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
