I’m considering temporary moving to Japan (Tokyo) with my family, most likely in 2025. I have employment options to do it.
Got two kids, 11 and 17 y.o. Currently we live in Germany. None of the kids know Japanese language yet.
The younger one will either go to a normal Japanese school or to the German international school in Yokohama. But the older child should receive her Abitur in 2025, and somehow she’d need to continue studying in Japan.
In Germany she’d go to a Fachhochschule, but I’m struggling to understand what would be a suitable option in Japan. The bar for foreign students to enroll into a university in Tokyo seems to be pretty high. Are there any other choices?
