Considering taking up full-time employment next year. Employer has a DB retirement plan (although I am curious about DC plans as well for my own knowledge). Having been freelance most my working life, I am wondering if payments toward DB plans become deductions on income tax returns. Any tax implications with being an American? I know little (as evidenced by my post) and couldn’t find anything on DB plans with search.
