Hi everyone! We bought Tokyo wide pass in the hopes to use it for express train from Shinjuku to Kawaguchiko, however all the earlier timings are fully booked and the only available direct train will reach kawaguchiko around 2pm 🙁
We are now thinking to book JR train to otsuki and take Fuji view express, which seems to be covered by Tokyo wide pass (please correct me if I’m wrong) and will reach around 1pm. My question is, how to reserve the seat for Fuji view express, if we are using Tokyo wide pass? I can’t seem to find this option in the JR reservation website.
Also, does anyone have any recommendation on where to visit if we reach kawaguchiko at 2pm? It seems quite late considering winter time (we are going on 24th Jan).
We will be staying 1 night near ubuya and was thinking to visit gotemba outlet on the way back to Shinjuku.
