I’m planning to visit okinawa for 8ish days around mid-April. I won’t be renting a car (no license). I’ve looked at naha and ishigaki and both places look doable in terms of finding snorkelling tours or doing day trips to nearby islands. I’m mainly interested in snorkelling but will probably check out some cultural/traditional sites as well like urasoe castle or taketomi island. For day trips I’m thinking abt tokashiki, zamami, taketomi, and iriomote.
Will snorkelling tours be running by mid-April?
Would you suggest I split my time between those 2 islands or just pick one? Or is there another island I should also consider?
