Hi! I had a question for current/past JETs – have you ever been placed in a special needs school and if so where? Part of my application was about how most of my teaching experience was at a special needs center (taught art lessons not language)
I saw a post of someone saying they work at a special needs school as a JET and I had absolutely no idea this was a thing!! I just wanted to see if there was anybody who wouldn’t mind sharing their experience if this was their case
I’ve had a lot of experience working with children with special needs and my interview had some questions about that so clearly it mattered to them!
