went to the bank today (because obviousely such an advanced matter cannot be solved on the internet) to move my NISA from existing bank to Monex now with the new NISA system. Got there and then got the message that since my existing NISA had already been converted to shin nisa, and I already paid in my january automatic transfer – i cannot move my NISA until October…. I do not see the logical reasoning here – but this was the explanation. Also all banks have the same “rule” according to them. Japanese bureaucracy delivers again…
are they bullshitting me, is there any way i could start a NISA in monex before october?
