In the short amount of time I’ve been looking, it seems most private onsens in Kyoto seem to be tied to actually having a room in the ryokan. Are there any popular/highly rated onsens in Kyoto that have day use private onsens for rent? I think I saw a lot in Kawaguchiko but am not seeing the same in Kyoto.
