I have read through previous posts about this but I am still not sure about one specific thing, the proof of income.
So, for the case with 80+ points, I can get a PR status as fast as 1 year.
Let’s say for example, the 1 year that I continuously have 80+ points is between 3/2023 and 3/2024. That means I can safely apply for PR around April 2024.
I am a little bit confused about at what point should the income be counted from.
Does it mean I have to provide an income tax return or something similar between the *exact* time range 3/2023-3/2024? So far, my experience of getting this document is that they only release this document after 1 fiscal year has passed. So for example, if I were to request this document from our city hall today or any day in 2024, they would only be able to give me a record for 1/2023-12/2023. This means it won’t be counting any other income I have earned for 2024.
Or is it safe to say that I only need one income proof from 2023, and it would be assumed I would still have the same or higher income by 2024?
