I just returned from Okinawa after celebrating my grandmother’s Kajimayaa (97th birthday) We were talking about my family’s history and she mentioned that we have a family crest. My grandmother said that she cant figure out what it actually says and no one else seems to know either. Mind you, my entire family is Okinawan and knows how to read and write the language. This was left from my grandfather who passed away 25+ years ago and all of his siblings have passed as well so we hit a dead end. I’m hoping that someone can help us figure out what is written.
