Ricefields and countryside home in rural Iwate Prefecture [OC]

1. Welcome to the ricefield.

2. I had so much fun catching insect etc in the rice field growing up. Now all those places are gone, all covered by concrete. All those woods, rivers, little hill with small shrine on top, all gone.

   Hope these rural places stay as they are, as long as possible.

7. I love this. It reminds me of where I live right now. My toddler loves looking for frogs and snakes in the fields.

8. This house and scenery looks eerily similar to a house I grew up in, but in the midwest instead. It even had the red roof, just not as fancy as this. I’m feeling nostalgic now, lol

9. Drove thru Kuzumaki last weekend and it’s the most rural I’ve seen (not one street light or conbini for over an hour). This house looks so picturesque.
