Hey folks. Staying in Asakusa this coming October with my parents. I’m taking them around Japan to see cultural side of the place. I’ve not stayed in that city before. Doesn’t appear to be in the Yamanote line circle, is it easy enough to transfer trains though? I don’t want to make things complicated since I’m basically playing tour guide. I don’t think my older parents would enjoy staying in some noisy areas like Shinjuku though. I love it but I don’t know if it would be for them.
We have from the 1st until the 5th to explore before we move onto Kyoto. We have so far
Day one: sensō-ji and Nakamise
Day 2: We booked a electric bike tour. They would enjoy that I think. Ride space boat!
Day 3: Trip to Tsukiji Market Day 3 + shopping
Day 4: Nippori fabric town (for me)-parents might go on a guided tour hike near by.
Day 5: relax, wander day. Explore the area. Maybe go to Bonsai Museum in Edogawa
Trying not to totally pack in their days with super schedules since they are older and none of us like every minute of vacation planned. Any suggestions for things for parents who love nature that we can’t miss near the area? Willing to travel a couple hours a day and schedule adjust. This is just an idea. One of their dreams was for me to play tour guide in the country I love \^\_\^
