English-speaking doctors/pharmacists in Tokyo

Hi, I’m looking to get Sertraline and Oxazepam in Tokyo. My Japanese isn’t good, so I’m hoping for some advice in finding doctors/pharmacists willing to give/take prescriptions from overseas. Thanks in advance.

  1. So you think prescriptions are universal and one medicine prescribed in another country will work in Japan? Doesn’t work that way. You have to get a prescription from a doctor in Japan.

Go to a local university hospital or Red Cross in Tokyo and talk to the doctors there. Your depression and social anxiety medicines may not be available in Japan, so you’ll most likely need a referral to a specialist who will run you through the steps to get a valid prescription in Japan.
