I love live music. I was fortunate enough to catch a punk band playing next to a subway entrance in Ueno around 2017. I’m going back to Japan in two weeks and I’m wondering where I can see some live music that isn’t pop or jazz (both which I love but don’t need help finding). A punk band would be great, or even rock or psychedelic. All the venues I’ve found via google are selling tickets to American acts or other things I just don’t want to see. Are there any small clubs or music halls that have low key local bands? I’ll also be spending time in Osaka if that helps. Thanks y’all!
