Hi all! I’ve seen a few similar threads from a few years back, but I’m expecting this September and don’t have much of a network here in Japan for support. I’m American and my husband is Japanese, no family nearby and my friends here aren’t terribly close to where I think they would really be involved, nor do they have children.
Any tips or helpful things regarding pregnancy or the newborn stage? Maybe, when did you first travel with your child and how did they do?
Also, a specific question which I’m struggling to find an answer online: what makes a hospital good? Have a university hospital 20 min walk from my house that seems like would be fine but I’m wondering if there’s anything I should ask or confirm before deciding.
