Hi friends, I am on a personal adventure to learn more about Japanese horror, and more specifically, the involvement of “object horror” in Japanese media. Object horror is a very vague term, but it’s things like cursed possessions, people turning into objects, technology usage, etc. It doesn’t necessarily have to be apart of the horror genre specifically or involve the object as the main focus of a plot (think Sword Art Online and the horrific usage of the headset), but anything related to the usage of objects in some horrific way is okay!
It can be any sort of media, books, magazines, anime, games, ukiyoe, literally anything.
