Just recently got my license converted to a Japanese one. Does anybody have any tips/suggestions regarding buying a car here in Okinawa?
What is the process when buying a used car? What are the documents needed? Is having a parking space needed in Okinawa?
Also, does anybody have suggestions where I can buy a car? I’ve read that the process is different when buying from a dealer vs. buying from someone directly.
For reference, I live and work off-base and can speak conversational Japanese.
