I‘m in a very dire situation.
I‘m leaving the country in 3 days and still own a motorcycle. Yes I know I’m stupid and should‘ve been trying to get rid of it earlier.
The issue is, I‘ve only decided to leave Japan about a month ago and expected to stay for quite a while longer.
I have a listing on Facebook marketplace and in some Facebook groups and it‘s been up for about a month now.
I‘ve had many people interested in buying it but all of them have been very unreliable and no one actually showed up.
So now I‘m looking for a used motorcycle center/business that also BUYS motorcycles in TOKYO. I‘ve tried googling but haven‘t found anything.
Maybe someone else has had a similar experience?
And yes, I‘m very happy to compensate on the price just for the sake of getting rid of it in time.
It‘s a small motorcycle, a 2013 Yamaha YX 125 to be precise.
TL:DR Does anyone know a business that buys used motorcycles in Tokyo?
Edit for anyone interested: In the end I was able to sell it last minute to an African exporter that messaged me on FB marketplace for 80K (was asking 110K in the beginning, very happy with that).
Was one of the sketchiest sales I‘ve ever done but it all worked out in the end.
