I’ll be staying in Kyoto from 10/8-12/4, and I would love to find an in-person Japanese tutor. I’ve currently been studying Japanese by myself for about six months using the first Genki textbook. My apartment is very close to the Kitano Tenmangu Shrine.
Does anyone have any leads for tutors in Kyoto or suggestions on how I might find a tutor there? I’ve looked online, but the tutor sites are quite overwhelming and do not seem to be intended for live, in-person tutoring.
