4 days of sushi in Hong Kong

I did absolutely no research so only relied on Google for random sushi restaurant recommendations.

1. Sushi Iroha, Wan Chai. Great quality fish and craftsmanship. Standout was the black cod with ume

2. Hika, Causeway Bay. My favourite one out of the lot. Love the uni, crab with roe and egg roll

3. Sushi Raku, Kwun Tong. Interesting flavours but not the freshest fish. The uni was noticeably pungent. Nice anago instead of unagi

4. Sen-ryo, Taikoo. This is a popular chain and great value for money. The prawn with truffle oil was interesting.

Overall had a great time eating sushi in Hong Kong. It’s a bit more casual than Japan but good quality nonetheless. Sashimi from upscale supermarkets was also extremely fresh & tasty

  1. What stands out to me is these look great and they’re not even piece by piece omakase spots.
