The Japanese-English dictionary is really bad. Can anyone recommend a better dictionary which can translate inflections of verbs, offers sample sentences, etc.?
It isn’t a book, but I like the online dictionary Jisho. Take a look at the entry it has for 行く. It gives example sentences and you can view inflections as well. It also shows you furigana for kanji.
Assuming you’re at an intermediate level, you can also use a Japanese dictionary.
JPDB.io is nice!
Jisho.
Just out of curiosity, how usable is the Kindle for Japanese text?
I ask because I did a little work on the text rendering engine for the Japanese project some years ago, but I left Amazon without seeing the finished product.
