Obviously one’s personal JP levels can vary according to the specific competence you’re measuring. But lately I’ve found myself curious about my own level, having never taken the JLPT. I can listen to Teppei Z and understand 95% of it (95% including the times I hear a word I don’t know, and then he explains it). I think broadly I’m about an N3 but I’m starting to wonder if Teppei is too easy for my listening level, and if I should try to graduate to something a little more challenging once I finish the series entirely. I haven’t seen his target level specifically discussed here – just a broad “intermediate”. What do y’all think?
