I just moved to Naha as an English teacher a couple of months ago and I am looking to take on new hobbies. I’ve always wanted to take up fishing but I’ve never done it before and I’m not sure where to start looking. I know there are already posts on here asking about the best fishing spots, but as a someone who’s looking to learn with no prior experience, are there resources like beginner classes that are available or meetup groups that are willing to teach beginners? My Japanese level is currently at a basic level and I’m hoping to buy a car within the next few weeks.
