Hi there – we are a young family looking to take a trip to Okinawa with our toddler. I speak basic Japanese. We’ve had some great trips with our baby in places that are seaside villages. What we’re looking for is; good food, ideally many things within walking distance, quiet and peaceful (car free is a plus) – and places that are easily walkable with a pram. Would you have any suggestions? Bonus points for onsen, access to nature…
Ideally this would be somewhere not filled with western tourists – we love embracing the local culture when in Japan, as much as we can.
