Question regarding attending Comiket 104

I live in Canada and I’m planning to travel to Japan this summer, currently the dates are set within August since I would like to attend Comic Market (Comiket) 104 that’s also happening that month. However, I recently learned that Comiket now has an entry limit and people need to buy tickets to enter. From what I’ve researched, the ticket sales only start a month prior to the actual event. This gave me a lot of concerns, since I have to book my flight, hotels and etc. way before the ticket sales start, and I don’t even know if I am able to get an entry ticket to Comiket given how popular the event is and potential scalpers getting all the tickets.

Just wondering if anybody has attended the previous few comikets where this ticketing system was in place, and can share some experience on this. Is it easy to get the tickets for Comiket and it should be safe for me to plan my trip around those dates, or it’s not really guaranteed in which case I probably shouldn’t be too fixated on this time frame? Thanks in advance.
