I have some money in a Yuucho bank account I would like to transfer to my American bank account. When attempting to issue an international remmitance I recieved the following error
“An error has occurred! To use Japan Post Direct international remittance, you need to register your My Number for the account you are using. If you have not yet registered, or if you have not been assigned (notified) your My Number, please bring your cash card, passbook, etc. and complete the procedure at a savings counter at a post office or Japan Post Bank.
I really don’t want to do that. Would anyone happen to know an easier way to transfer the money into my bank account?
I also have an american wells fargo bank account and a platnium amex card if that changes anything. I was under the impression that the wells fargo branches were are disconnected from the American ones. I hope I am wrong. Any help would be appreciated.
