2nd time in Japan, what area to visit other than Tokyo/Osaka/Kyoto?

Hi everyone, I’m going to Japan again but this time bringing along my sister and mom. Other than Tokyo/Osaka/Kyoto, is there an area that is easy to navigate for a tourist?
