New NISA and yen weakness

I just realized my new NISA allowance is available, I just transferred the 3.6m yen to my account, but I’m wondering what should I buy with it, or if it’s better to wait.

The common advice here is to invest in the low fee mutual funds from eMaxis Slim, like SP500, Developed Country, Global Equity (All Country), Global Shares (3 Regions), Global Shares (Excluding Japan), etc.

But I wonder if the current yen weakness and the possibility of this changing in the near future is something to be considered, or if it’s completely irrelevant.

What will people here do?
