He doesn’t need the money, he has a wife (who is also independently wealthy) and a young child, he’s cemented his legacy as one of the best to ever do it. Plus, look at his contemporaries: Shibata almost died, Ibushi never fully recovered from his injury in 2021, Kenny might never wrestle again, Tana and Naito are held together with athletic tape and hairspray… sure maybe WWE offers him a dumptruck of cash but I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if he just decides to chill, fish and play with his kid for the rest of his days (and good for him if he does).
