Working remotely part-time in USA while in Japanese school

Hello. Looking to be going to school (low-intensity) for a 2 year term for Japanese.

My strategy for making life easier to keep it TLDR is to work part-time for doing IT remotely for a US based job (I’m American myself). I have 8yr experience as well as certs etc so I’m not worried about my ability to grab an entry level remote job in service desk (22$/hr part time is very healthy to live with in JP but no way I’d live on that in USA lol).

With utilizing a PEO for intermitary , I would pay income taxes to Japanese govt while living there for the 2 years, which would help tremendously with my PR or Naturalization application later on.

Couple questions I have:
\-IF my visa is covered for 2 years to stay in Japan by law of being a student, do I even have to claim income tax in Japan? Or can I inform my new employer that I am American via my ID and just get paid to my US bank account, and move money to my JP bank? My thoughts are as long as I can do my job remotely, where I connect from wouldnt matter to them. Risks?

\-IF I go the PEO route, would I have to inquire with an employer whether or not they have a PEO? Are there any good sources to look for contract jobs which are PEO?

\-Finally, are there any good places to look for American remote jobs that are PEO / known to help people living abroad
