We’re continuing our trip after 4 nights in Seoul, landing at KIX at \~10am. First time in both countries. Our first week is during golden week, unfortunately. Any improvements or things to keep in mind are appreciated!
Day 1 (Osaka):
* Arrive at KIX, head to hotel near Dotonbori to unpack.
* Head to Shittenno-ji and Keitakuen Garden
* Check out Shinsekai
* Head up to Namba Loft, then Takashimaya for shopping and snacks
* Get to Dotonbori, sightseeing through to Shinsaibashi-suji
* Have dinner at local restaurant
* Check out Don Quijote
Day 2 (Nara):
* Breakfast, then travel to Nara for day trip
* Rent bikes at local shop in Nara, then bike around to Todai-ji
* Visit Nara park to look at feed deer
* Visit Kasuga Taisha, Isuien Garden + Yoshikien Garden
* Bike to Higashimuki Shopping Street for snacks and late lunch
* return bikes before heading back to Osaka
* Drop off and unwind in hotel before visiting Dotonbori for night sightseeing
Day 3 (Osaka):
* Breakfast, then visit Osaka Castle
* Get Takoyaki and visit LUCUA for shopping
* visit Mameshiba Cafe
* visit Kuromon Ichiba Market
Day 4 (Kyoto):
* Check out, have breakfast, travel to Kyoto
* Drop-off luggage at hotel
* Visit Nijo Castle
* Visit International Manga Museum
* Walk around Gyoen National Garden
* Dinner, then early evening
Day 5 (Kyoto):
* Fushimi Inari Taisha and nearby shrines early (7am)
* Snacks around Fushimi Inari
* Kinkaku-ji
* Lunch
* Arashiyama, Monkey park,
* Dinner at Pontocho
Day 6: (Kyoto):
* Quick breakfast then Kiyomizu-dera
* Sannenzaka, Ninenzaka, Kodaiji Temple, Yasaka Shrine
* Gion area
* Lunch
* Nishiki Market snacks and shopping
Does this seem like too much? Too little? I tried to group activities proximally, to reduce travel time.
