  1. O-dori ebi. Dancing shrimp. I used to make those but not with tiger prawns like this gentleman did. I used spot prawns instead. Delicious either way.

  7. I’d be a bit too freaked out to eat it at first but could learn to get used to it

  8. No it’s not. The sauce is causing the nerves to fire.

    This happens with a number of other seafood dishes including a popular squid dish. When they pour soy sauce on it the tentacles start moving.

  9. Where I was raised a popular past time is frog gigging and frying up frog legs. Will never forget the look on my sister’s face when my dad and I filled a huge bowl with raw frog legs and then started dumping salt on top of them.

  10. I’ve never had sushi before. But yes that is kind of weird the way it is still twitching from nerves

  11. If you want to taste such food, you can in Japan, a lot of fresh ingredients it will jump. It’s a little scary, but it’s delicious. lol
