I’m planning a day trip from Tokyo to either Nagano or Matsumoto in mid-April to catch some sakura. Forecasts are currently predicting that Nagano will reach full bloom around April 10th, and I think (maybe incorrectly) that this also applies to nearby Matsumoto.
Between two destinations, which would make for the better trip?
