Are the ebi fresh? What id do to get my hands on some fresh ones.
My wife and just spent a few days anniversary-trip hiking and onsen-ing around Tateyama in Toyama Prefecture. My big culinary delight on this trip was Toyama “shiro-ebi”, these light sweet delicate white shrimp only found in Toyama (too delicate and limited in harvest to export well). I am a big fan and can’t wait to go back to have them again!
