I recently sprained my ankle something fierce while getting out of the subway station, missing a step because I caught a glimpse of the Osaka castle and just got giddy.
Anyhoo, it seems I’m not the first and certainly won’t be the last one doing that here over the weekend when all the medical equipment stores are closed, so if you just need a walking aid or a wheelchair, I found some stuff at the DCM Daika Namba shop. The section is located on the ground floor (indicated as 1st floor) in the Daily consumables (signposted in English as auch) aisle, next to the Kitchen utensils aisle. I knew I’d only sprained my ankle so I just got myself a walking canes for ¥2000 that provides much needed support while my ankle heals.
