I have a PR. Married for ten years to Japanese wife, with three kids. Lived in Japan for 14 years, now. I work remotely for a well known university in Tokyo for over two years. I’ve been trying to get a loan for a kominka and renovate, and I always pass the initial screening at every bank I’ve tried so far, (Aeon Ginko, JA, other national banks) but they always come up with some random, unclear reason why they don’t approve it. I live in Ishikawa, even if I don’t have a Hokuriku bank account, and my work of employment is outside of Ishikawa…do you think I could get approved…or is there a better way to get the loan? (2900man loan)
