Hello –
I will be in Kansai for the Halloween season. Unfortunately, my family booked the hotels in Kyoto up until the 30th, and we will be in Osaka on the 31st. We all wanted to attend the Halloween street party (which is near Dotonbori in Osaka, see link below).
So my question is, when is it really celebrated? I’ve researched that Halloween is typically celebrated on the 31st (stated in the link below), but I’ve also read about it being celebrated the last weekend before the 31st which is 27/28th this year.
If it’s on the weekends, my siblings and I might consider separating from our parents in Kyoto (but we’d like to avoid this as much as possible 🙂
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
