If I were trying to communicate that I was busy yesterday/yesterday was a busy day, would I say 昨日は忙しいです or would I say 昨日は忙しいでした? I would assume the latter since it uses the past tense of です, but I have seen it written as the former and I suppose it could make sense since 昨日 already implies it is in the past.
