I am looking for advice/recommendations for our stay in Tokyo. Especially regarding our transport options (Suica/Pasmo vs Day tickets/pass). Been to Japan in 2018 but was with an expat who cared for me, so need to wrap my head around some of the logistics as my friends are skiers and no travellers haha
Group of 6 skiers travelling from Hakuba to Tokyo Station early afternoon on Jan. 29, 2024. We’ll use takkyubin for our bags and the bullet train from Nagano. We reserved a 6-beds dorm in Shibuya ([Sakura Hotel Hatagaya](https://www.sakura-hotel.co.jp/jp/hatagaya/)). **We are wondering if we should get a 3-day metro pass or Suica/Pasmo? Our plans (in terms of transport/activities) includes:**
* 1st day – Jan. 29
* Tokyo station to Hotel in Shibuya
* Akihabara
* Yokocho (Ebisu was fun but maybe too far from our hotel, so maybe Golden Gai instead)
* 2nd day – Jan. 30
* Full day walking around (i.e. Meiji Jingu, Harajuku, Omotesando, Shinjuku, Kabuki-cho, etc)
* Dining and going out, no plans yet
* 3rd day – Jan. 31
* Shopping and maybe art exposition
* Need to be at the airport early afternoon
It’s my friends first trip overseas so I want to make it memorable (apart from the skiing which will be EPIC).
