1. I was trying to watch on my PC on Sunday. It kept freezing. I’ve completely given up on the Firestick. I don’t want to unsubscribe—I love NJPW too much. I know it’s frustrating, but it’s going to take a while to work all the bugs out. I’m still hopeful.

2. It’s always interesting that I see constant posts like this. I haven’t had a single problem across any of my platforms. Sucks to see this isn’t the normal experience.

3. it’s not been too bad for me though i don’t wanna jynx myself this relaunch has been pretty bad though given the lack of archive content on the site which while they atleast warned us would happen it makes them look 2nd rate not having everything on arrival

7. Just subbed at the end of last year huge drain on my MacBook Air M2 and on my iPad to but not had any problem with streaming.

I had the same problem, cancelled my subscription (luckily now the new system let’s you keep it for the rest of the month that was already paid for unlike the old website which just ends your membership the same day), anyways decided to try again and it works now (basically I had to open the video from the phone app and then try again in the browser)
   I guess that’s the way to fix it. But now since I have cancelled I’m gonna have to pay in USD if I renew instead of yen

9. NJPW World is currently broken on Fire TV devices, (constant crashing) but there is now an app for the Apple TV streaming box and I can confirm it works brilliantly.

10. I always get about 15 seconds to play and then it completely stops whether I’m watching live or VOD. I’ve found that signing out and signing back in to my profile fixes the issue

11. I notice the issue is playing from desktop. When i play from my MacBook to monitor its always a shit show

    Ipad and Apple TV apps seem fine

12. Try to delete the cookies on your navigator or try to enter with Edge instead of Chrome. Had to deal qith those same issues at WK and that was what solved it.

13. I’m watching Moxley/Shingo now as I read this and it’s working perfectly (other than normal abroad production issues). I’ve found Google Tv and fire Tv work fine.

    Still want my damn archives though!!

14. Are you logged in to a Japan VPN? I thought BitV was geo-restricted to Japan.

15. I’m having the same issue. Worked fine for WK but tried BotV yesterday and it kept timing out. I tried to give the app the benefit of the doubt as there is 2+ feet of snow here and trees and power lines down all over but alas, it’s a garbage app.

18. I’ve had that “freeze every 15 seconds” problem. I found using a different browser usually helps, I usually use Edge whenever I watch now.

19. I’m having the same damn issue. First time I’ve EVER had a problem with NJPW World since I started watching in 2017. Not one match for BitV will load for me at all on my iPhone, and it’s the only way I’m able to watch currently.

    Considering my love for NJPW and World’s track record (for me at least), I’m willing to give a pass this time, but definitely hoping it gets fixed in the near future.

22. I’m about at the end of my rope too. When it first relaunched I was able to make it work slightly on firestick, but that involved watching one show, then having to exit, launch another app, the re open World to get another show to play.

    Tried last night, I can open “episode selection” of tours but my cursor won’t highlight anything besides the first entry when I get to the page.

    This service was seriously 20x better a few months ago. Easily the worst wrestling service I pay for at this point. Now I don’t want them even touching Stardom World, at least that shit works.

23. I cannot get it to work on xbox at all anymore through web browser. I have mixed results on my pc.

24. Hm, how are you watching it? I have it set up just running in my browser and then steam link that to my tv in the living room and haven’t had buffering even once yet since the relaunch.

29. I will say it’s harder to navigate than before. It’s like navigating a really bad porn tube site now.

30. Only issues I have so far are that it’s not as intuitive when looking for specific shows that took place more than a couple of months ago, and I wish you could choose between watching the whole show in one video and split into individual matches.

32. NJPW works fine on my Android phone app, computer and Roku. But does not work on my chromecast. I log in and it keeps telling me to subscribe and the cost to watch anything even though I am already logged in.

33. roku works almost perfect, only had out of sync audio once

    but desktop browser literally wont even log in no matter browser, incognito, cleared cookies, etc.

    its weird how everyone has uniquely different problems tho

34. This post/its comments are fascinating to me. So many different problems on so many different devices.

    Adding in my experience: mainly watch on browser (Firefox) and the only persistent issue I have is that backstage comments always freeze when I try to skip ahead in the video. I did also have issues with getting livestreams to play twice (one early on and then WK), but clearing cookies fixed that.

35. This happens to me as well OP. Sounds a bit ‘I.T’ solution, but sometimes if you log out and in again, it works well for a few weeks. Hope you get it sorted.

37. The only thing that doesn’t load for me are backstage comments. Luckily those go on YouTube, still pisses me off though.

38. In Australia, no issues at all here. I found WK streamed a lot better than it used to!

    BUT, the lack of being unable to rewind a live broadcast was really frustrating. Hopefully they bring that in, as it’s a fairly basic feature of most streaming services (though admittedly, it does cost a bit more on the back end for them).

39. I’ve had a video quality issue myself. Like when I watched the most recent show (Battle In The Valley?) the video wasn’t there at all for me. VoD, not the live stream of it.

    But other than that it was okay

40. After using Wrestle Universe, the fact that the NJPW World/Stardom apps are so much worse is really frustrating in 2024.

41. Still not working? It’s 1/17 (1:45am in the states) and I’m running it fine off my archaic iPhone SE and chromecast.
