Iam going for my second japan trip this year for 15 Days from mid september. First trip was the typical itiniarary Tokyo(Nikko, Kamakura), Nagoya with nakasendo,Kyoto, Osaka and Hiroshima.
But i cant decide which region i should visit next.
My first idea was Kyushu, but i read that in some areas car rental is advantageous.
My second idea was including Kumano Kodo, but the booking system from the official site seems a little strange to me. Side question: Is it possible to do the kumano kodo with own bookings from typicial bookings sites like booking.com ?
What iam looking for:
\- good accessibility by train and bus ( no car rental)
\- beautiful nature with good hikes
\- history and some nice citys
