Trying to figure out how many days to spend in Takayama ( 2? 3?) and if it’s a really worthwhile experience to stay 2 nights up in the Hirayu mountain area in a small traditional Ryokan with outdoor baths. We are taking the Nohi bus and don’t want it to be a problem without our own transportation.
