Hi, I am currently a literature BA student in England, (age 23) going to continue on to study a masters. My ultimate goal in life has been to move to Yokohama, teaching (hopefully) literature there. (My dissertation is focused on Japanese literature, and so will my MA dissertation)
Is this actually possible, or am I just clinging on to a fantasy? I have been told it will never happen, but if there is a possibility then I do not want to give up yet.
If teaching literature at university level in Yokohama is not possible, then what about English as a foreign language?
