New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day Late night travel


I just did a search for 年末年始 2024 ダイヤ and came up with [this page](https://www.jorudan.co.jp/info/oomisoka/) to see if the special overnight schedule is operating this year and it is in some cases.

Please check this page yourself and also with the train company schedule if you are making plans.
Also note that you can get stuck if connecting services that you need are not running. Many trains are not running late but just a few examples of some of the services that are running.

Some highlights:

## Tokyo Metro

* Tokyo Metro – no operation

## JR East

* Yamanote Line – All-night operation approximately every 15 minutes
* Keihin Tohoku Line/Negishi Line – Sakuragicho – Omiya All-night service Approximately every 20-50 minutes. Ofuna – Sakuragicho All-night service??
* Chuo Line Rapid – Mitaka – Takao All-night service Approximately every 30-60 minutes
* Chuo/Sobu Line station – Mitaka – Chiba overnight service approximately every 10 to 80 minutes. Maximum every 140 minutes between Tsudanuma and Chiba.
* Yokosuka Line – Yokohama – Zushi All-night service Approximately every 80 minutes. Tokyo – Yokohama All-night service.

## Keisei Electric Railway

* Keisei Ueno ~ Keisei Narita – All-night operation approximately every 20 to 50 minutes
* Oshiage – Keisei Kanamachi – All-night operation approximately every 20 to 50 minutes

## Keisei Electric Railway

* Keikyu Main Line/Keikyu Kurihama Line – Last train delayed

## Tokyu Corporation

* Toyoko Line – One special train will be operated from Shibuya to Yokohama after the last train.
* Denen Toshi Line – After the last train, one special train will run from Shibuya to Chuorinkan.

## Takao Tozan Electric Railway

* Mt. Takao Cable Car – All-night operation every 15 minutes (every 7 minutes during busy times)

## Shonan Monorail

* Shonan Monorail – The first train will be moved up and more trains will be run early in the morning on New Year’s Day.
