I do like how they’re being transparent with this. I also imagine that Kikuchi’s “transfer to a different position” is to one where he won’t be interacting with the wrestlers or making booking-related decisions.
Hopefully this is the end of the situation and Ibushi can focus on rehabbing in time for the G1 and taking care of his mom. He hasn’t posted anything concerning on Twitter in days, which is a good sign.

I’m personally quite surprise about this little punishment towards Ibushi. I think such strong words should have a more drastic decision.
Having said that I think Ibushi will be slowly transferred to mid card matches.
I think it would be a good gesture for all of the fine money to go towards some sort of suicide prevention group in Japan.

I am just curious as to why NJPW is being so transparent about this situation, but they keep referring to the dude as “the official”? Like, why not name him? Why is he this Wizard of Oz like figure? I find this very strange.
And let’s see the reaction Ibushi will get from the other wrestlers. My bet is that he will be totally mobbed.
