My friends and I will be travelling to Japan on April 2024.
Tokyo (April 6 – 11)
– Day Trip to Mt. Fuji & Hakone on April 9
Osaka (April 11 – April 14)
Kyoto (April 14 – April 18)
Tokyo (April 18 – 20)
I searched online about the temperature/weather on April and it said that it’s between 10degC – 20degC.
Just wondering how true is this temperature? We are not entirely sure what kinds of clothing we should bring. We were thinking just to bring a light sweater/cardigan for chilly days. We don’t want to be packing the wrong stuff and be uncomfortable during our trip.
Another question is about the Luggage Shipping. We will be staying at AirBnBs in Tokyo & Osaka. Do all Kombini offer luggage shipping? Will they be able to pick up and deliver to our AirBnB? Or will we have to pick up from a nearby Kombini instead? Do all hotels have the luggage shipping service?
Also, how much cash is enough? I personally don’t want to be carrying too much cash and would prefer withdrawing from ATMs. Will foreign (Canadian) debit cards work in Japan ATMs? We will be downloading Suica on our phone and just load it through apple pay, but i guess not all establishments will accept this form of payment.
Osaka Amazing Pass – is this deal good? From what I understand when I looked into it, it seems like a really good deal! But kinda worried that I may be missing some info about it, because I don’t really see people post about it. We are planning to get this pass and explore Osaka with it.
Any other tips and advices will be greatly appreciated.
