Greetings, everyone! I’m seeking information regarding the renewal process for my Japanese residence card. I began my journey with a Japanese company in August 2019 under a 5-year research visa. Currently, I’m on secondment in Singapore within a group company. My Japanese residence card is set to expire in July 2024, and I’m curious about the renewal procedure. Can this be done outside Japan?
