Hi there. As per the title, are any of you out there living in Tokyo on a minimum-ish wage?
If so, what’s your life like? Expenses, working hours, living conditions (sharehouse I’m guessing)? How frugal do you have to be? Do you find you work too much to be able to enjoy yourself?
I’m asking because I’m considering moving to Tokyo because it’s boring out here in this inaka city. Should I just bite the bullet and go for eikaiwa jobs instead of bothering with minimum wage jobs?
Would appreciate your stories and experiences.
