A little backstory, back then I had a native friend to play fortnite with. We met randomly through another friend. Her english was conversational so I could understand everything she said even when theres an error. Now she is suddenly gone and nowhere to be found online, we used to chat on instagram and stuff.
Right now, I’m trying to find a friend like said. I know theres app like HelloTalk and Tandem but I dont want a language exchange partner, I just prefer to have fun and learn about the languange casually.
If anyone could help me that’ll be awesome, doesnt necessarily have to be fortnite it could be anything I enjoy like Minecraft.

you could try vrchat
There are tons of Jp/En online tandem groups on Facebook. In my experience they work much better than dedicated language exchange sites or apps. I met 3 of my best friends through those groups.
