UPDATE: I was allowed in today with a smile. It must’ve just been due to cleaning/closing yesterday. Thanks everyone for the comments. A great learning lesson!
I attempted to enter a coffee shop today but was turned away by the employee. I’m not sure why. I saw a couple of old guys sitting and drinking coffee but plenty of empty seats. I did see a large quantity of dirty dishes on the bar so perhaps she was going to be busy cleaning.
